Loop Back Mode Status
When this bit reads 1, Loop Back Mode is enabled. When this bit reads 0, Normal Mode
is enabled.

IrDA FIR Modulator Select State
When this bit reads 1, the IrDA FIR modulator is connected to the IRTXD output. When
this bit reads 0, the IrDA FIR modulator is disconnected from the IRTXD output.

This bit is reserved and always reads 0.

IrDA SIR Modulator Select State
When this bit reads 1, the IrDA SIR modulator is connected to the IRTXD output. When
this bit reads 0, the IrDA SIR modulator is disconnected from the IRTXD output.

This bit is reserved and always reads 0.

IrDA FIR Demodulator Select State
When this bit reads 1, the IrDA FIR demodulator is connected to the IRRXD input.
When this bit reads 0, the IrDA FIR demodulator is disconnected from the IRRXD input.

IrDA SIR Demodulator Select State
When this bit reads 1, the IrDA SIR demodulator is connected to the IRRXD input.

Timer Counter Value Bits [15:0]
When written to, these bits set the initial value of the 16-bit Timer Counter Register.
These bits read back the initial value of the 16-bit Timer Counter Register.

When this bit is written 1, Continuous Packet Receive is enabled. The 1st Interrupt
request cleared, Rx related flags in Tx/Rx Status Register and the Actual Receive Data
Length Register also cleared. When this bit is written 0, Continuous Packet Receive is
disabled.
