PCI-Configuration Registers
These registers occupy offsets 00–3Fh. They control basic PCI bus functionality. PCMCIA
Operation registers are accessed through the Base Address 0 register. The registers in this section
apply to the entire chip; they are not specific to either socket.
Caution:
If bits indicated as read only (R:) are to be written to, they should be written to a ‘0’.
5.1
Vendor ID and Device ID
Bits 15-0: Vendor ID
This read-only field is the vendor identification assigned to Cirrus Logic
1 by the PCI Special
Interest Group. This field always reads back 1013h.
Bits 31-16: Device ID
This read-only field is the device identification. This field always reads back 1100h for the
PD6729. Revision number identification for the PD6729 part itself is indicated by the Mask
Revision byte at extended index 39h.
