Register and memory map
As shown in Figure 6 and Figure 8, the MCU is capable of addressing 64 Kbytes of memories and I/O
registers.
The available memory locations consist of 128 bytes of register locations, 128 bytes of RAM and 1 Kbyte
or 2 Kbytes of user program memory. The RAM space includes up to 64 bytes for the stack from 00C0h
to 00FFh.
The highest address bytes contain the user reset and interrupt vectors.
The Flash memory contains two sectors (see Figure 6 and Figure 8) mapped in the upper part of the ST7
addressing space whereas the reset and interrupt vectors are located in Sector 0 (FE00h-FFFFh for the
ST7LUS5 and FA01h-FFFFh for the ST7LU05/ST7LU09).
The size of Flash sector 0 and other device options are configurable by the option bytes.
Caution:
Memory locations marked as “Reserved” must never be accessed. Accessing a reserved
area can have unpredictable effects on the device.

DEE0h, DEE1h, DEE2h and DEE3h addresses are located in a reserved area but are special bytes containing also the RC
calibration values which are read-accessible only in user mode. If all the EEPROM data or Flash space (including the RC
calibration values locations) has been erased (after the readout protection removal), then the RC calibration values can still
be obtained through these addresses.
