3.6 Reference Clock Frequencies
The legal ranges of reference clock frequencies vary depending on the operating modes
selected. Table 3-5 shows the ranges allowed for each mode of operation.
3.7 Receiver Interface Error Codes
The receivers status and data error conditions are coded on the RECV_n_ERR,
RECV_n_IDLE and RECV_n_K signals. When RECV_n_ERR is low, the receiver is
operating normally and no error conditions exist (with exception of underrun/overrun error
in byte mode.) When RECV_n_ERR is high, the data on the receivers output is
questionable due to an error condition or lack of synchronization. Initially, RECV_n_ERR
is asserted indicating that the receiver is in one of its start-up phases. Table 3-6 describes
the error conditions and their signal coding for byte interface mode.
