Test patterns
The ADC1443D can be configured to transmit one of a number of predefined test patterns
using the SPI local registers (bits TEST_PAT_SEL[2:0] in
Table 14
and
Table 28
). The
selected test pattern is transmitted regardless of the analog input.

A custom test pattern can be defined using the SPI local registers
(bits TEST_PAT_USER[13:6] in

Output data format selection
The ADC1443D output data format can be selected (offset binary, two’s complement or
gray code) using the SPI local registers (bits DATA_FORMAT[1:0] in
Table 26
).
