3.1.6 Command (CMND)
UPADDR: X'8'
Type: Read/Write
The Command (CMND) register is used by the
microprocessor to program operations of
ALDC1-5S. CMND is reset to X'00' by a hard-
ware reset. CMND is not changed by a soft-
ware reset.
The opcodes are given in Figure 3-7 and the
Command register layout is given in Figure 3-8.
3.1.7 Transfer Size (XFR)
UPADDR: X'A' and X'B'
Type: Read/Write
The Transfer Size (XFR) register allows the
microprocessor to control the number of bytes
transferred during a data transfer operation.
XFR is a two byte register with the most signif-
icant byte contained in Transfer Size High
(XFRH) and the least significant byte contained
in Transfer Size Low (XFRL). XFR is reset to
X'0000' by a hardware or software reset.

into a high impedance state.

isolate ALDC1-5S from
external circuits.

ALDC1-5S detects a carry out of
the Original Data Interface
Transfer Count (TCO) register.

Note: Opcodes not explicitly named in this
table are reserved for future use. They are
invalid for ALDC1-5S and will produce no
operation.
