2.5.1
Setup and Installation for Windows 2000
This chapter describes the installation procedures for GSU31. These procedures include hardware
installation, the creation and configuration of a RAID volume, OS installation and the installation
of the GSU31 software on computer systems requiring the ability to be locally and remotely
managed.
Figure 2-20
illustrates the typical uses for this product. These instructions are for
Windows 2000 Server, Advanced Server and Professional.
Note:
Professional does not support remote administration (Remote Storage Console) of the RAID
subsystem.
