5.8 Card Register
There are a set of five registers within the card interface. These registers are used for the
serial data communication. The OCR, CID and CSD registers carry the card/content
specific information, while the RCA and DSR registers are configuration registers storing
actual configuration parameters.
5.8.1 OCR Register
The 32-bit operation conditions register stores the V
DD
voltage profile of the card. In
addition this register includes a status information bit. This status bit informs the host that
the card power up procedure is already finished. The OCR register (as well as command
1) must be implemented by cards which do not support the full operating voltage range of
the MultiMediaCard bus or the card power up extends the definition defined in the timing
diagram.
