9.2.6.44 Security-Erase-Unit - F4H
This command requests transfer of a single sector of data from the host. Table 9-10 defines the content
of this sector of information. If the password does not match the password previously saved by the
CompactFlash card controller, the CompactFlash card controller rejects the command with command
aborted. The Security-Erase-Prepare command should be completed immediately prior to the Security-
Erase-Unit command. If the CompactFlash card controller receives a Security-Erase-Unit command
without an immediately prior Security-Erase-Prepare command, the CompactFlash card controller
aborts the Security-Erase-Unit command.
9.2.6.45 Security-Freeze-Lock - F5H
The Security-Freeze-Lock command sets the CompactFlash card controller to Frozen mode. After
command completion, any other commands that update the CompactFlash card controller Lock mode
are rejected. Frozen mode is disabled by power off or hardware reset. If Security-Freeze-Lock is issued
when the CompactFlash card controller is in Frozen mode, the command executes and the
CompactFlash card controller remains in Frozen mode. After command completion, the sector count
register should be set to 0. Commands disabled by Security-Freeze-Lock are:
- Security-Set-Password
- Security-Unlock
- Security-Disable-Password
- Security-Erase-Unit
If security mode feature set is not supported, this command will be handled as an invalid command.
