10.7.1 Outline of TID
TID (Timer Input Derivation) is an input-related 16-bit timer, whose operation mode can be selected from the
following by mode switching in software, one at a time:
Fixed period count mode
Event count mode
Multiply-by-4 event count mode
Up/down event count mode
