Reduced Development Time
A development kit bundled with the required sample
source code and binaries gives a jump start for the
development of application code that can easily be
migrated to target products. This development board
can be easily shrunk to a cost-effective solution.
High Performance and QoS
Lucent’s highly sophisticated EQuB ensures priority of
voice packets over data packets, and hence high QoS.
A four-channel DMA ensures fast data transfers
between user interfaces and memories to supplement
the performance.
Extended Alliance Programs
Lucent has formed alliances with industry leaders to
ease product development enabling fast time to mar-
ket. Relationships with Wind River Systemsand Tril-
lium Digital Systemsprovide value pricing for
integration of hardware and software. Lucent has quali-
fied RealTime Digital Inc. as a third-party vendor to
customize the DSP code parameters. TelGen Inc.

qualified to customize board designs and BSP. TelGen
manufactured the development board, developed the
BSP, and provides the help desk support for the
Phone-On-A-Chipdevelopment kit.

Chip
A development kit has been designed to help custom-
ers expedite their product launch by reducing the
development cycle significantly. The development kit
provides a turnkey demo solution to plug and play with
the H.323 protocol stack based application.
