Flash Memory Read
To read Flash memory, load the address into SFRs
EEAH and EEAL. Then write AAH to EESTCMD. The
results of the read operation will be available in SFR
EEDAT in the next CPU instruction cycle.
Flash Memory Write
Erase operations set all bits to
“

”
. After a byte has
been programmed it must be erased before it is re-writ-
ten. To write to Flash memory, load the address into
SFRs EEAH and EEAL, and load the data into EEDAT.
Then write 55H to EESTCMD. The execution time for
flash memory write is 63μs (typ) and is independent of
the CPU clock.
