LED Output Drive Method
When the LED output is used to drive a LED, the drive on/off state and the current value are set by the serial
communications.
The output constant current value is determined by the constant current reference voltage set with the serial data and the
resistor (RF) connected between the RF2 pin and GND.
The following formula can be used to calculate the output constant current.
(output constant current) = (constant current reference voltage) / (value of the resistance RF)
Power application sequence and hierarchical relationship among supply voltages
Apply the supply voltage to IC in the order from VCC to VB1 and 2.
No hierarchical restriction exists between VB1 and VB2 voltages.
Though no hierarchical restriction exists between VCC and VB voltages, apply VB in such a manner that the VCC
voltage does not drop below 2.1V.
In case of application of VB only, apply VCC and VB1 and 2 once, then turn OFF VCC. In this case, the recommended
VCC application period is several 10ms or more.
