1. DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE

PD78P0208 AND MASK ROM PRODUCTS
The
m
PD78P0208 contains an on-chip one-time PROM in which data can be written once or an EPROM featuring
repetitive program write and deletion.
Functions other than PROM specifications and mask options can be set as equivalent to those of mask ROM
products, by setting the internal memory switching register (IMS) and internal expansion RAM switching register (IXS)
accordingly.
Table 1-1 lists the points of difference between the

PD78P0208 and mask ROM products.
