9. USING RAM TEST MODE
The
μ
PD161401 has a test mode in which seven types of screen data are written to the display RAM. When using this
test mode, be sure to execute the following sequence. If the RAM test mode is executed in any other sequence,
erroneous data may be displayed.

The time of 200 ms varies depending on the characteristics of the LCD panel and the capacitance of the
boosting or smoothing capacitor. It is recommended to determine this value after thorough evaluation with
the actual system.

The set display data is always written to the display RAM in the RAM test mode.
