Software GUI
When the MSP430 microcontroller is replaced by the
DB25 cable
, the
programming of the TAS3001 equalization can now be done through the
software GUI program via a PC. In the software GUI operation mode, the six
onboard switches are disabled and the six bands of digital equalization,
volume control, bass, and treble are programmed via the software. Refer to
the software GUI user
’
s manual for instructions on the use of this feature.
3.4
Software Installation
1)
Set the parallel port on the PC to the EPP mode. (If the EPP mode is not
available, bidirectional or PS-2 mode works in most cases.)
2)
Create a directory on the PC and install the contents of the supplied disk
in it.
3)
Run the .exe file and follow the steps on the screen.
