Audio Setup
Controlling volume in DOS
The ES1868/1869 audio controller provides software control on
the setting of audio volumes. The VOLUME CONTROL utility
located in the UTILITY subdirectory of audio driver diskette is
used to control the volume setting in DOS.
To control the volume setting, simply type the
ESSVOL
at the
DOS prompt with appropriate parameters. The syntex of ESSVOL
is shown as follows.

Display all volume settings.

Change master volume.

Change microphone volume.

Change Synthesizer volume.

The value range of volume is 0 - 15.
