Block diagram
MN673745 is an LSI consisting of IEEE 1394 control unit,
compression/decompression unit (DV codec) of DV stream and digital
bus interface unit (REC656-IF).
IEEE 1394 control unit builds in link layer compliant to IEEE Std
1394a-2000,
various isochronous protocol processing parts, and
encryption/decryption part.
Mutual conversion of DV and MPEG 2 is easily realized with digitized data.
