The
Global DOVA Register; Table 20
performs a final
offset adjustment in analog space prior to the ADC. The
6-bit register uses its MSB to indicate positive or nega-
tive offset. Each bit value changes the offset value by 4
LSB code levels hence giving an offset range of +/-124
LSB. As an example, to program an offset of +92 LSB,
the binary representation of +23

5.4 Post ADC Block
The post ADC block contains the bad-pixel replacement
registers and a general output control register.

White Pixel Threshold Register; Table 21

set the thresholds for white and black pixel replace-
ments. The MSBs on the
Black Pixel Threshold Regis-
ter

encounters any pixel value that exceeds the set thresh-

Care should be taken in assigning these thresholds.
This function performs an averaging effect on the im-
age, therefore, the greater the code distance the thresh-
olds move from the voltage rail, the more averaging
occurs between pixels.
