The following general-purpose registers are provided:
General-purpose registers: An 8-bit-long register for storing data
The general-purpose registers are of 8 bits and located in register banks of the memory. One bank contains
eight registers and up to a total of 16 banks can be used on the MB89190/190A series (8 banks on MB89191/
191A). The bank currently in use is indicated by the register bank pointer. (RP)
Note: The number of register banks that can be used varies with the RAM size.
