Another alternative would be the “Y” scheme termina-
tion as shown in figures 4 and 5. The advantage of
using “Y” scheme termination is that it does not re-
quire an extra power supply for termination, it is cost
effective and easy to implement.
This scheme is ap-
plicable only to sources with differential outputs.
