Description
The GSM Baseband Analog Front End (AT75C6100) is an integrated mixed signal
chip that provides the essential functions for controlling and interfacing to the various
parts of a GSM system. Its main function is to provide an interface between the RF
subsystem and the digital signal processor or microprocessor unit.
The AT75C6100 integrates on a single chip functions such as: GSM timing genera-
tion, GSM system control functions, analog front end (or RF codec) functions, and the
audio codec functions.
