Measuring Range
The maximum measuring range of the
Prosonic T is limited by the conditions at
the measuring point and the reflection
characteristics of the product surface.
Optimum conditions are achieved if:
the surface of the liquid is calm and
without foam,
no large concentrations of vapour are
present in the tank,
the solid material is hard and
coarse-grained,
no dust is present in the silo,
temperature layering in the tank or silo
is low.

Check the factors affecting your
measurement in the table to the right.
Add up their attenuation values (dB).
