Solid State AC Power Controller (SSPC) - Model 90240-25AC
General Description
The 90240-25AC Series Power Controller is an 80
to 240 VAC, TTL controlled power switch de-
signed for aerospace and industrial applications.
This power controller is a solid state replacement
for 5 to 25 ampere AC circuit breakers. This de-
vice is externally programmable for I2t trip delay
and current trip point. Status reporting permits
sensing of normal operation, trip, over tempera-
ture, and failure conditions.
This device uses SCRs for switch elements pro-
viding low on-state voltage drop (<1.1Vrms). The
use of hybrid technology results in its small size
and high reliability.
The NHI advanced package design places the
power devices directly on the mounting tabs,
achieving the lowest electrical and thermal resis-
tance possible.
Applications
These devices are designed for use in land, air,
sea and space deployed systems that require high
reliability. Their exceptional performance and af-
fordability extend applications to industrial power
management and control.
