The QDF (Quick Connect Distribution Frame)
family of products provides a fast, easy and
reliable wire management system.
The QDF 2-wire and 4-wire test/patch cords
are available for use with QDF-E termination
magazines. They provide access to circuits
for testing, monitoring, and temporary or
permanent patching.
Their make-before break cabability ensures
that critical data will not be lost when
monitoring circuits.
Both are available in a variety of
configurations to accommodate all testing
and patching applications.
The 2-wire cord can be used to bridge/tap
(no circuit interruption) onto a 2-wire circuit
which will allow passive monitoring of that
circuit. It can also be configured to provide
break access (circuit interruption) to the line
pair (A1, B1) or equipment pair (A, B) for
testing or patching.
The 4-wire cord provides break access (circuit
interruption) to both the line and equipment
side of the circuit.
Markings on the end of each plug identify
correct polarity when plugged into a QDF-E
access slot.
Test plugs are also available in 2-pair
configurations for testing or patching
4-wire circuits.
