The

PD789800 is a 78K/0S series product designed for a USB keyboard (for ASSP).
The
μ
PD789800 has on-chip hardware compatible with a USB keyboard, including USB (Universal Serial Bus)
functions, a regulator which powers a USB driver/receiver, and a key return signal detection circuit.
The
μ
PD78F9801, a product with on-chip flash memory which can operate on the same supply voltage as for
masked ROM products and various development tools are also under development.
