Real-Time Output Port Functions
The real-time output function consists in transferring data set previously in the real-time output buffer register to
the output latch by hardware concurrently with a timer interrupt request or external interrupt request generation in order
to output to off-chip. Pins used to output to off-chip are called real-time output ports.
By using a real-time output port, a signal which has no jitter can be output. This is most applicable to control of
stepping motors, etc.
