Active Filter
A
nother
application
for
the
MIC51

active
filter

output

a
switching
regulator

improves

power
supply
in
several
ways

irst,
using
the
MIC51

as

filter
on
the
output
can
signifi-
cantly
reduce
high
frequency
noise

witching
power

plies
tends
to
create
noise

switching
frequency
in
the
form

a
triangular
voltage
ripple

High
frequency
noise

also
created
by
the
high-speed
switching
transitions
